Teuku Adifitrian, but more widely known as Tompi, was born and raised in the town of Lhokseumawe, in Aceh. In 1997, he left Aceh and moved to Jakarta to pursue his studies at the University of Indonesia to become a Medical Doctor.
His passion in music made him willing to juggle a busy schedule as a performer and also a doctor that specialises in plastic surgery at his own beauty clinic in Jakarta.
Tompi has also created an album dedicated to his son, Teuku Omar Dakari, called “My Happy Life”. The album offers jazz, funk and soul and contains 9 songs.
Amazingly, the multi-talented Tompi has not only directed his own music video clips, he also directed other singers in Indonesia, such as Drive, Luna Maya, Pasto and Matthew Sayerz. He is also talented in photography - Tompi takes photos of himself and his band of musicians for his album artwork, and also photographed others musicians and artists.
He also owns company named Glymps, where he delivers his creative projects such as advertising, editorial, video production, branding, print Ads, working alongside magazines and companies in Indonesia.
His album named “T” brought him a nomination in AMI Awards 2006 for Best RnB Production Category.
